About me

Why I do this

I do this work because I believe each person’s story matters. I value offering a space grounded in care, respect, and thoughtful reflection, where people can explore their experiences and move forward in ways that feel authentic and life‑giving.

My Approach

Person‑centred care sits at the core of my practice, you are the expert of your own life. I also draw on other evidence‑based approaches to give you a tailored experience, because there is no one size fits all to therapy. I also incorporate elements of:

  • Strengths-based approach

  • Art and expressive interventions

  • Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)

Nest and Nurture Counselling provides support for a wide range of topics including:

  • Life transitions and adjustments

  • Grief and loss

  • Pre and postnatal support

  • Attachment, parenting and pregnancy

  • Stress

  • Anxiety

  • Self-esteem, confidence and self-improvement

  • Emotional regulation skills and building distress tolerence
